The 2023-24 student-athletes from Minnewaska Area, Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa, West Central Area, Hancock, Benson, and Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg high school's who were honored at this year's KMGK Sports Banquet.
2023-24 KMGK Female Athlete of the Year Teagan Stark of Minnewaska Area. Teagan was also the female winner for the Minnesota "Triple A" Award for excellence in Arts, Academics, and Athletics. That award is given to one female and one male throughout the entire state of Minnesota.
2023-24 KMGK Male Athletes of the Year, Luke Dingmann and Maximus Hanson of Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa High School. Luke was a Mr. Football finalist and Maximus won consecutive State Wrestling Championships.
2023-24 KMGK Female Coach of the Year Missy Foslien, West Central Area Volleyball coach. West Central Area went to the State Tournament in Volleyball for the first time in school history during the 2023-24 school year.
2023-24 Male Coach of the Year Kraig Hunter, West Central Area Boys Basketball. West Central Area made the State Boys Basketball Tournament for the first time in school history during the 2023-24 school year.
