Waterama medallion Hunt Clues for
the 53rd Glenwood Waterama July 25th-27th, 2008
We've already enjoyed this month, community
celebrations to the east and to the west;
Both Villard and Starbuck can boast of 125 years, promoting only the very
best
Of small town living in, this its' sesquicentennial year, the great state of
Minnesota
With the county fair and now the 53rd Waterama, the pace doesn't slacken, not
one iota.
For you to know just where to go, I offer...
( though not in iambic pentameter )
"Let safety and respect for others property" be your searchings chief
parameter.
Listen for clues on the media access or KMGK as they announce each verse
Hard copy of the same will be posted there, as well as at the Chamber of
Commerce.

With
clues in hand you might want to stroll through the park opposite the city
dock
There are no less than four curb cutouts leading you onto the brand new
sidewalk!
I would like to applaud this improvement and
quietly echo the city crews
pleading
That you file only on this course or established turf and avoid the new grass
seeding.

Speaking
of new sprouts, this year is the debut of the
fine Ski Sprites Waterski Team
From western Wisconsin they're sure to entertain you in keeping with
Wateramas theme
We're especially proud to note the performances on Sunday eve of two of our
very own;
Virtuosos Sarah Stein Howe and David Ask, two of the best and both homegrown.

Out at
the high school, Minnewaska Area Theatre Arts presents their Sound of
Music too
A major production to mark Showstoppers thirtieth year, to pull it off, takes
quite a crew;
If music from the VonTrapps is among a few of your favorite things, then you
should fare
To hear Marias granddaughter, Elizabeth,
booked in the Concert Series at
Central Square.

Good luck
to all queen candidates, and hats off to the reigning royalty and all the
brass-
Your representation of our great community throughout the state has truly
been first class
To check out the medallion as
the 53rd Glenwood Waterama celebration sets sail....
Ascend the steps to the Carnegie
Columns and congratulations, cuz you got MAIL!!!!!

Have a safe and fun-filled Waterama Weekend!!
